HomeEach animal has a comfortable sleeping area and a large covered outside run. The kennels are fully heated and air conditioned. Bowls, beds and bedding are supplied, please do not bring foam beds or continental quilts, they are unsuitable for use in kennels, and difficult to wash and dry. Your dog will be provided with comfortable vet bedding. You may bring a small blanket or familiar toy for your dog if you wish. The management take no responsibility for any items left in the kennels by the owners. Dogs are walked twice daily in surrounding countryside, they are not mixed with other dogs unless from the same household.

Blantyre Boarding Kennels opened in 2002 and are situated in a beautiful Lanarkshire country setting bordering Blantyre, Cambuslang, Rutherglen, East Kilbride, Hamilton, Motherwell and only 8 miles from Glasgow city centre.

FEEDING
We try to accommodate most tastes, and provide a wide menu selection for our boarders. If we do not stock your particular brand, you may bring your own food. This may be a requirement if your dog is still a puppy, as we do not stock puppy food.

MEDICATION
Medication can be administered to dogs while boarding. However whilst every care will be taken when giving medication, the management accept no responsibility for any problems arising from this.

COLLECTION & DELIVERY
A collection and delivery service is available by arrangement, for a nominal charge depending on mileage.

GROOMING
Grooming can be arranged for your dog prior to leaving the kennels. Please ask about this when booking, and arrive home to a clean well groomed pooch!

CONDITIONS
Deposits
A deposit request will be sent with your booking confirmation and can be paid on line or you can pay over the phone by card. Deposits are non refundable except at the owners discretion.
Vaccinations
All dogs must have an up to date vaccination certificate when they arrive at the kennels. Proof of vaccination must be shown before we can accept your dog. We do not insist upon your dog having kennel cough vaccine, but it would be preferred. Please insure this is done at least three weeks prior to coming in.
Behaviour
If your dog is found to be aggressive or unable to walk on a lead during their stay, they will not be walked. We do not put our staff at risk of being injured.
Vet
The owners reserve the right to call for veterinary assistance should any animal become ill while under their care.
Insurance
All animals are fully insured whilst in our care by Pet Plan.
Payment
All accounts are payable on departure by cash or card.
